Trust Martin: Heart

My heart is science. I think that my love of science throughout my whole life has driven me to all sorts of places that have been helpful in my own discovery of myself and my strengths. Last year I used my love of science to teach my students about tornadoes, with a nice demonstration that got them engaged and hopefully go them to like science a little more. I think that inspiring awe is what science should do for children and adults alike, so for me to be able to get them to have that kind of reaction is extremely satisfying, because it was how I felt at their age.
