I believe that affirmative action should be continued. The reality of education in this country is that the education system is racist. The system is set up so that it favors white students and segregates minority students. In this country, it is difficult for a minority student to achieve the same education as a wealthy white student. Affirmative action was creating to equalize the education system. Affirmative action helps place minority students in private schools and colleges across the country who might not otherwise be able to afford to attend such schools. While it is sad that our country requires such systems as affirmative action to give minorities a good education, it is clearly still needed in our country.
