Does student integration in schools matter in order to ensure educational equity?
I agree that integration in schools are a cogent reason to unite the education systems. Students from different backgrounds, hierarchy, and culture, should be in the same classrooms because every student can learn about each students lives and can also learn about different beliefs. In school it is not all about race it is also about kids that have a disorder and who can over come that problem and being able to share it with other students. More schools are becoming racially and economically diverse and with this diversity it is a head start in achieving a hard but attainable goal. Many see the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education as a push in the right direction in desegregating school, while many view desegregation itself as a noble but failed experiment. Virtually, the society is not raising the prospect of promoting school integration and this is why this idea is not a first priority when referring to the educational system.
