Participating in FLL (FIRST Lego League) was an amazing opportunity that really helped me learn and expand my interests when I was in elementary and middle school. It was a lot of fun to be able to work on designing a robot, programming the robot to compete in challenges, and creating a research project based on a scientific topic with my team. Since I'm high school now, I volunteered as a mentor to a middle school robotics team and it was great to be able to involve others in robotics, an activity I've always loved.
