Heart-Voicing Your Thoughts

Although my picture wasn't of an image, I felt these words clearly embodied my passion for speaking one's truth and defending their rights. I believe that people choose to ignore their feelings, afraid of being rejected by society or in fear of just being wrong; however I think people should take risks and defend what they believe is correct. Furthermore, I think everyone deserves a voice in society because ultimately it is the adults who run our country today and even children deserve a voice because at one point our country will be in their hands. I also feel passionate about the idea of people saying children have no say in "big matters" of our country because ultimately they must live with the legacies we enforce on them, and if they must abide our rules, than they have a right to rebuke them, if not criticize them. Lastly, I think anyone should be able to question our society because it is definitely not perfect, and they might have a suggestion on how to improve everyday lifestyle/ Ultimately, a "societal norm" now, was probably once a criticism in the past, such as equality between all races, but at one point someone had to voice their honest opinion which was rejected from the public. Therefore, the next honest and open opinion from an adult or child could later become the start to a revolutionary change, for the better, in our society. Hence, everyone should be able to speak their mind, even if they fear of their opinions being rejected.
