I've always been interested in learning about different cultures- especially the food and the language. I find it fascinating how we're all essentially the same, but due to where we live our cultures and backgrounds differ. NYC is pretty diverse, and it's also interesting to see different groups of people and where "their culture" is gathered (such as Little Italy, Chinatown, St. Marks, etc...).
