I've been playing guitar of about 6 years or so and it is one of my passions. Just the thought of getting up onstage and playing in front of an audience makes my heart beat faster. Writing songs is also my favorite way to express myself creatively. At some point in my music career, I noticed that there are very few women in the history of rock and roll / punk who are respected as guitarists or musicians, whereas there are so many men who are respected as guitarists in that industry. I want to see that stereotype defied. That's why for me, playing electric guitar is not only a hobby, but it's also almost political. It's about rebellion, the disintegration of social norms, and free self-expression.
